A little update on yours truly. Did just changed jobs and am now working for a US company making contact lenses.

Just started this Tuesday and everything looks very exciting to me. Hope it gets better from here.

Hey,if u guys ever feel bored,u could try out this IQ test...it's quite simple really,so not to worry...u'll get ur results immediately...i got 131,n it says im a creative theorist(it's different for everyone,based on which areas u scored highest in),n there's a whole lot of analysis n explanation based on ur results plus d answer n explanation for each question...so u can go check it out for urself n share ur results if u dun mind...who knows we may hv a genius among us...good luck doing it! :)

And so Chicken Beng and his mom were down here in Singapore the other day to attend his LRSM diploma award ceremony. The event was on last Wednesday at the Le Meridien Hotel. And the performance by some of the better graduants were a blast. Now, I know why I do not have a LRSM diploma.

haha....you know something...i hate all this hype about valentine's day....seriously man...its just another day of the year...but oh well...thats what i think la...because i don't have anything to do on february the 14th and everyone else does...lol....anyway my dear cousins....as much as i hate this day...i usually spend it in a very dull and mundane way...and this year was nothing different....except that....erm....i actually didn't feel bored this year....lol....i'm crapping...its so boring la...i'm just another sad 17 year old guy sitting here doing nothing on a valentine's day...haha....oh yeah...hi to my two cousins who just joined the blog...what did all the rest of you do for valentine's day? :P

The Christian and with the age of 17~18 who study at College.

But I would like to suggest everybody need to like the Monday as well as the exam.

Don't ever treat Monday as Monday blue. Hehe....After rest for few days or weekend, come again for the challenge....Or I like the most - Exam in order I can challenge myself....exam is not the stuff to bother you but just some experience that show youself how much you understand.

That may let you to feel happy all the time.... Don't worry, be happy......

First day at work today. One word. Boring.

But I guess, it doesn't matter if you are going back to work, or back to your classes, the blues are just setting in.

Anyway, CNY was a blast with you guys. But as usual, the weather is just too freaking HOT. Maybe next time we should just hold the reunion dinner at some restaurant. Air-conditioned, of course. What do you guys think?

my day today and yesterday

haha...yesterday i went for a birthday party...very rare occasion cos i seldom go out of the house...i'm a home person...i like my house...lol...so anyway....it was an ok party...no alcohol or anything...:P church ppl la...oh yeah...we talked and ate...then we played...haha...this is the best part...hide and seek!! lol...the best thing is...there were like 20 year olds and 21 year olds there too....and they were playing hide and seek too...more enthusiastic than us 17s and 16s...:)oh yeah...then i came back and slept..went to college late today...cos i had no classes till 12 something...my dad and sister woke me up at 6 in the morning thinking i was going to college...lol...disturbing my beauty sleep...anyway...my dear cousins white and black cofee...when are u guys going back for chinese new year? we'll be back on saturday evening i think...:) see ya guys there!! and get the rest of our cousins to join the blog la...very boring...till then...i rock!!

Know your Hakka delicacies well:

All Hakka dudes and dudettes should not miss our own simmered and stir-fried Hakka dishes. Yummy! Btw, there are other delightful Hakka delicacies such as ground tea, vegetable dumplings, sweet glutinous rice cakes with peanut powder, Hakka noodles and preserved vegetable.

Apparently by doing a simple search in Googles brought me to this famous Hakka restaurant in Singapore! Hey, famous as in winning numerous awards and reccomendations. Dun pray pray~

Well, there are lots of taiwanese which are Hakka (although its a minority group among Taiwan's four major ethnic groups) and they do celebrate traditional festivals such as the Hakka traditional arts festival. Excerpts from an article in Taipei Times - "The first thing about being a Hakka is being able to sing mountain songs". Isn't it cool? That's Hakka for own people.

Essentially, it means family. And this is what this space is about. Family.

Our family.

A place to keep in touch and to update each other on the latest news, weddings, babies, cars, healthcare products, who is baking a cheesecake, or who is showcasing the boyfriend this Chinese New Year.

Essentially, it means we want to know what's cooking. In our own backyard.

And, of course, in other peoples backyard as well. Since as a family we share everything, including gossips.

And going by that grain, for those who are good in certain things, advice will surely be solicited. No doubt about that. Like where's the best chee cheong fun in Teluk Intan. Or how to skip the traffic at the Summit junction. Or why does the baby keep crying.

And whether studying in Singapore is a good choice ( for the record, the answer is no, unless you want to spend the rest of your uni days NOT partying away).

Aiks. I digressed.

But then again, it's all that and more.
